Terms of service.
Last updated April 19, 2026
These terms describe what you get when you use EarlyEdge, what we promise, and what we don't. By using the site or buying a resume, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, email help@earlyedgehs.com and we'll explain in plain English.
1. What EarlyEdge is
EarlyEdge is a one-shot AI resume generator. You fill out a form, pay $19.99, and our system — built on Anthropic's Claude model — writes or polishes a resume for you. You download it as a Microsoft Word document and do whatever you want with it.
2. What you pay, and refunds
Price. A single resume generation is a one-time charge of $19.99 (USD). There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
Refunds. Because each purchase immediately triggers an AI generation that costs us money the moment you click "Continue to payment," we generally do not issue refunds once the resume has been generated. If something goes genuinely wrong on our end — payment taken but no resume produced, the page errors out, the result is blank or garbled — email help@earlyedgehs.com with your Stripe receipt and we'll either regenerate it or refund you.
3. The AI disclaimer (important)
The resume is written by a large language model. That means:
- You must review it before sending it anywhere. Check names, dates, school names, job titles, metrics, and contact information. Treat the output as a strong first draft, not a finished product.
- AI can make mistakes. It may phrase something awkwardly, mis-interpret an achievement, or occasionally invent a detail that sounds plausible but isn't true. That's on you to catch and fix.
- We don't guarantee outcomes. We don't promise you'll get the job, get into the college, or win the scholarship. Lots of factors we don't control go into that.
You are the author of your resume. You are responsible for anything you submit to an employer, school, or program.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us honest information. Don't invent jobs, titles, schools, GPAs, or test scores. We will generate a resume from whatever you provide — if you lie to us, the resume will lie too, and that's your problem.
- Only submit information about yourself, or about someone who has authorized you to write their resume.
- Don't use EarlyEdge to commit fraud, impersonate someone else, or violate any law.
5. Account and age
We don't require you to make an account. You only need to be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and old enough to use the service under applicable child-privacy laws. If you are under 13, don't use EarlyEdge without a parent or guardian actually helping you through it.
6. Who owns the resume
You own your resume. The text you typed into the form is yours. The generated output is yours to use, edit, print, post, and share however you like. We keep the rights to the EarlyEdge site itself — the design, the name, the code.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use EarlyEdge to:
- Attack, probe, or overload the site or its infrastructure.
- Scrape or redistribute the generated output as a service of your own.
- Generate content that's illegal, hateful, or designed to deceive a specific third party about a person's identity or credentials.
If you do, we can cut off access and refuse future generations.
8. Third-party services
We use Stripe to process payments and Anthropic to generate the resume text. When you use EarlyEdge, your data passes through those services under their own terms. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles that.
9. No warranty, limited liability
We provide EarlyEdge "as is." We don't warrant that the site will be available at every moment, that generations will be perfect, or that a specific outcome will follow from using the resume. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything related to EarlyEdge is capped at what you paid us — which is $19.99.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product changes. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after that means you're good with the new version.
